We arrived dark and early on Saturday morning to watch one of the two morning balloon launches during the festival, but it was cancelled due to fog. Unfortunately we didn't have time to hang out until the 6pm launch. We did talk with some of the balloonists while waiting to see if the morning launch was going to happen or get scrapped. They told us they successfully launched the previous afternoon, along with the Energizer Bunny balloon, a pair of bumble bees, and several other balloons. Sure wish we could have been there for that!
FYI - if you take at look at the Menlo area in MapSource/nRoute, the town's boundary is the shape of a balloon! Very cool.
