This historic marker is located on Morton Corners Road, just of Route 39 in Morton Corners, New York. The sign reads:

Woodside Farms

Jeremiah Richardson 1795 - 1879

Pioneer settler town of Concord about 1816, near Mortons Corners, cleared much land, establishing farms that his son David and grandson Arthur enlarged. David built a home and recreation hall on Woodside Road. It later became known as Woodside Dance Hall, a popular night spot for many years until it burned to the ground in 1958.
