This simple memorial commemorates the 20th century veterans of Douglas County, Oregon. There is also a special plaque honoring "Rosie the Riveter" the "women of America who sacrificed . . ." Located at a wayside on Rt. 128 east of Roseburg, Oregon.

Description of Memorial: This is a natural granite marker with an etched inscription surrounded by two flanks of brick wall. The stone tiled area in front has several stone benches. Behind the memorial fly the flags of the United States. the State of Oregon, and the POW-MIA flag. One the left wall is an engraved polished granite tile as a tribute to Rosie the Riveter and the American women. (see long description)
There is also a Blue Star Memorial Highway Marker beside the memorial place by the Oregon Federation Garden Clubs and the North Umpqua VFW Post #4316 and the Umpqua District Garden Clubs
