Risky crossing
For years, the Gois was borrowed by “noirmoutrins” before the bridge construction. Numerous accidents were recorded. Two cross guard the entrance and exit of the Gois.
Today, his crossing is some risk if the passenger does not meet the schedules of low water tides. It was agreed that we can go in good weather and strong coefficient 1h30 before and after low tide. Since 1830, the tides are posted near the crossing. The fog can be very dangerous especially for fishermen who lose up all sense of direction and can be trapped by the tide.
