Edenvale Garden Park is the location of what used to be Frontier Village, an amusement park for children with a wild west theme.

Frontier Village no longer exists, but several birdhouses have been created within the park, that mark the spot and have the theme of the ride or building that used to be at that location.

The Railroad Station in Frontier Village was the loading point for the small train ride. The Railroad cars made a journey around the park past the Canoe and Burro Rides, the Badlands, the Ferris Wheel and the Spirit of Kitty Hawk. Occasionally rider would be treated to a shoot-out with members of the Gunfighters Gang. This birdhouse was recreated in the image of the Old Railroad Station and was designed with bird entrance holes and cavities to attract the Western Bluebird.
