The Veterans Walk is located in Jeffersontown Veterans Memorial Park. The Walk consists of a marble monument, and a brick-paved walkway consisting of 6000 brick pavers. Currently, about 3000 of the pavers are inscribed with the names of local veterans or those currently serving in the United States armed forces. Each year on Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies are held to dedicate new bricks. The park also contains displays of a M60A3 tank, a Huey helicopter, naval artillery, and a Mark 14 torpedo.

The remainder of the park contains softball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a walking path. In 1998 it was named the "Best Community Park" in a Class III city in Kentucky.
