This church is one of the older churches in Scotland County. Many of families in this area attend Nashville Missionary Baptist Church. As youth, I remember this church as a towering wooden structure. Over the years the congregation has made many renovations to its present brick facade and manicured grounds. It is active in the community sharing its love and resources to all whose shadow darkens their door and all others that call upon them in times of need.
