Local legend tells that Hell's Hole was discovered by 2 men travelling at night. At hight peering down in this hole one would have thought that it probably did go all the way to hell or perhaps, that's where they would of ended up had they fallen in.
Hell's Hole is popular spot for abseiling cave divers and is 45m metres in diameter, with 30 metres to the water which is about 25 metres deep.
