Both bridges span the River Don. The nearest (disused) carried the line from Aire Junction to Braithwaite Junction, the other is the Doncaster avoiding line for freight and is still open.
The Transpennine Trail and NCN 62 both follow the river and the disused railway at this point.

The Trans Pennine Trail in Doncaster
Some 25 miles (40 Km) of the trail passes through Doncaster from its western boundary at Bolton Upon Dearne to its northern boundary at Sykehouse.
If you travel along the trail you will follow riverbanks, canal towpaths and disused railway lines, pass through woodland, farmland and villages. Look out for signs of our industrial past and keep your eyes open for the wildlife too.
Much of the trail is traffic free, making it ideal for recreation walking and cycling.
To log you most have your photo taken with GPS at the sign on the middle of the Bridge that is where the co-ords will take you.
A spoiler pic is provided of my son at the sign.
