It would be difficult to find a spot which better represents classic New England than this one. The Stark Union Church, situated on the banks of the Upper Ammonoosuc River in Stark, New Hampshire has appeared in countless photographs (both amateur and professional), and it's likeness has been the subject of more than a few jigsaw puzzles.
Constructed in 1853, the church almost touches the Stark Covered Bridge (another popular historic landmark), and is located across the street from the Stark Village Cemetery.
The church is still active, offering Methodist services on Sundays at 8:30 am.
