Amphitrite Point Lighthouse - Public Access Lands on Waymarking.com

The original Amphitrite Lighthouse was built in 1906. It was lit with a 31-day Wigham lamp and was maintained by a lifeboat operator. On January 2nd, 1914 it was demolished by a tidal wave and replaced by a traditional lantern. The current lighthouse is automated and un-manned.

Enjoy the Wild Pacific Trail. A beautiful hike to take in the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. There are many benches along this coastal trail.

From Peninsula Road (main road in Ucluelet) head south. Turn right on Coast Guard Road and park in the lot at the Coast Guard station.
