From the SIRIS inventory: "Full-length portrait of Phillip Burton. He wears a suit and tie. The jacket of his suit is unbuttoned and his shirt collar is loosened. A piece of paper is visible in his coat jacket pocket. He is gesturing with his hands; his proper left arm is bent at the elbow and the hand is held up in front of him. His proper right arm is held up and out to the side. His upper torso and head are turned slightly to the proper left. The silicone bronze sculpture has a warm brown patina. The sculpture stands on a circular plaza constructed of Italian granite paving stones."
