A great boy and his dog sculpture in front of the Edmond Animal Shelter (Crosstimbers Complex)

In this sculpture, a young boy is kneeling on the ground, giving his very large dog a big hug (hence the title First Love). It is located at the entrance to the Edmond Animal Shelter, an appropriate place considering the subject of the art work. I think it is an adorable piece of art, one the kids will enjoy seeing. This is one of many sculptures placed around town by the Edmond Visual Arts Commission. This one was purchased by Paws for Life, partnering with the Edmond Visual Arts Commission.
