Similar to Philadelphia, Camden was broken down into smaller towns or neighborhoods, each with their own identity. These water towers which still exist were constructed to support the people. Today they are antiquated and defunct but still look over the city. This one is a rusted hill and no longer functions except perhaps as a benchmark. The rusty structure overlooks Jefferson Avenue.
