Marker Name: Slim Brown’s Poolhall
Marker Text: Built in the late 1940’s, this structure housed a poolhall and poker “parlor” through the 1960’s. It was renovated and a second story added in 1990. Next door was Addie’s Cafe for many years; it was remodeled in the mid 70’s.
