The village of Riverton east of Springfield has a very nice Veteran's Memorial Park.
The day we visited, there was fresh snow on the ground. The black marble display really stood out, and put a solemn feeling on the memorial and immediate area.
The memorial was dedicated November 11, 2006.
In my opinion, the memorial has had a lot of thought put into it.
