Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure are located right next to each other in Anaheim, Califonia. Disneyland opened in 1955 and Disney's California Adventure opened in 2001.

In addition to the two theme parks, there is Downtown Disney, a free to enter area with restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen offers Louisianna style food along with Bourbon Street jazz. The complex includes three hotels. The Grand Californian Hotel is the newest and most elegant hotel. It is located in between the two theme parks and has easy access to either park.

There are rides for all ages in the parks, including some high powered thrill rides.

At night the Disney theme parks are ablaze with lights, neon, and artistic neon.
