St Marys is situated at the edge of the village, and has many unusual features inside and out.
There are links to Pocahontas The Indian Princess who married John Rolfe. A sculptured plaque to the Princess Matoaka is situated in the Lady Chapel. [this was done by Otillea Wallace a pupil of Rodin.]
The brass lanterns inside are replicas of those in St Marks Cathedral in Venice.
