This library is housed in an attractive building, constructed of rammed earth, and is part of a complex which includes a public meeting hall, a children's playground, and park lands. As with most public libraries in Western Australia, the library was built and is owned by the local council (local government authority). In this case the City of Gosnells.
The library is medium sized, which is to say it has a maximum capacity of approximately thirty people. There were two librarians on duty when I visited.
The library follows the standard format for public libraries in Perth. Services include: CD-ROM and word processing facilities, photocopying, faxing, printing and Kurzweil reading software.
The library was opened in 1993. Paid internet access is available.
