Multi-purpose arena located 10 minutes by foot from the city centre, with capacity 7200 (4200 seats) for ice-hockey. Also concerts or motocross take part here.

The construction of arena lasted from 1972 to 1982. It was the largest project realised in the city as "Z Action" (widespread movement for construction of civil amenities in comunistical times based on "obligate-voluntary" work of citizens). The quality of work was accordant to that.
The arena was opened in 1982 on the occasion of skittles worldchampionship. Nowdays Rondo is home of professional icehockey team
HC Kometa Brno, which for 2009/10 returned to the Czech Extraleague after 15 years and despite not-so-good performances (finishing 12 of 14 teams but with very poor start - losing all of their first 11 games) attracts many fans and reached 99.2% occupation capacity for regular season.
