Cupples Hall
-1899-

First used as a dormitory, this hall is named for Samuel Cupples, curator and benefactor.  In 1928 Mary L. Pollard remodeled the hall to house George M. Smiley Library, a memorial to her nephew, an 1881 Central graduate and faculty member.
