Frank D. Martini Memorial Shell - Boston, MA - Bandshells on Waymarking.com

In Boston, along Truman Highway, is a narrow strip of green between the road and the Neponset River. Within this park is a bandshell known as the Frank D. Martini Memorial Shell.

This shell, maintained by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, is currently in the final phase of renovations for the the entire park.

A web site for the shell was not found. However, a copy of the presentation about the construction has been found, and there are other organizations that have posted their activities held at the shell on their web sites, such as the Boston Natural Areas network.

There is some parking available in the park. There is additional parking at the Stop and Shop strip mall next to it.
