Michigan cemeteries are close from sunset to sunset by law. There is plenty of parking near the memorial. It is close to the road, and could see it through the fence if the cemetery were closed.
The plaque is on the side of a mauseleum, in an area of the cemetery dedicated to war memorials.
The plaque reads:
"Michigan Remembers
For those who returned
Thank-You God
To those who died
Glory forever God
For those still missing
Please God"
There are insignias for the Michigan POW/MIA and the National POW/MIA and also an Eagle on a barbed wire prison fence.
