Marker Name: B3 - Bean Building
Marker Text: The Bean Building was one of the first buildings on Wall Street to choose locally fired brick and volcanic tuff for construction. The Bean Building is also recognized as one of only several buildings in the nation that had a water-powered elevator that operated until the 1950s.
