Torness Power Station, East Lothian, Scotland (7 Miles past Dunbar).
An Advanced Gas Cooled Reactor, construction began in 1980. opened by Uk Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on 25 May 1988. Torness was the last of the United Kingdom’s second generation nuclear power plants to be commissioned.
