The Edmond Libertyfest Celebration is a series of fun events centered around the 4th of July holiday. In addition to an amazing fireworks display at Wantland Stadium, there is a Road Rally, Taste of Edmond, Kitefest, Libertyfest Parade, Car Show, and Chalk-it-Up event.
The fireworks display can be seen from anywhere around the University of Central Oklahoma campus, so we recommend parking wherever your vision is not obstructed by tall trees or buildings. Spectators are not permitted in Wantland Stadium for security reasons. The stadium is located on the far NE corner of campus.
There are plenty of places around campus to grab a bite to eat or food for a picnic while you wait for or watch the fireworks. Most people bring blankets and sit on the large grassy areas on campus, but many people also park in the parking lots near campus and avoid the traffic congestion.

You will love the Grand Finale of our Festival! It's the largest fireworks display in the metro area (featured as being among the top ten in the nation by CNN & USA Today).
Bring your entire family to witness the spectacular fireworks show provided by Extreme Pyrotechnics. You will want to bring a blanket or lawn chair; sit back and enjoy the fireworks beginning around 10:00 p.m.
Seating will be available throughout UCO's scenic campus (2nd Street/University Drive). Please note that seating will not be available in Wantland Stadium.
