There are many trails in Buena Vista Park, some dirt trails, some hard-packed dirt and some paved with stone. There's a boardwalk section that connects two sections of hard-packed dirt, keeping the trail level for strollers and walkers walking parallel to the hillside. Coordinates are given at a midpoint in the boardwalk where it is crossed by an outdoor stair, perpendicular to the boardwalk.
