Mt. Soledad Korean Memorial Plaque - San Diego, CA - Korean War Memorials on Waymarking.com

The Mount Soledad Cross and Memorial was originally dedicated to Korean War Veterans- but over time has come to honor all Veterans.
This particular plaque is one of hundreds- although, most of the others, honor a particular servicemember. This plaque is located on the northern end of one of the concentric walls surrounding the cross and reads in part:
"KOREAN ASSOCIATION OF
KOREAN WAR VETERANS OF SAN DIEGO
WE HONOR THE MEMORY OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY WHO
UNSELFISHLY CAME TO KOREA AND FOUGHT WITH US TO PRESERVE OUR FREEDOM.
THEIR SACRIFICES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN."

The plaque then continues to list the names, ranks and military service branch of 25 servicemembers.
