Fillongley is a beautiful park on the ocean. There is a 10 site campground and small beachfront picnic area. Walking trails take the visitor along a creek or up to a large meadow. This was originally the homestead of Mr. George Beadnell, whose grave is on the property. Mr. Beadnell deeded the property to the provincial government in 1953 on condition that he be allowed to live there until his death. When he died it 1958 the government took over the land and created the park.
