The memorial sits in front of the fire hall which is the original location of the fire station since 1927. There is a beautiful statue of a firefighter with a hose in action. Flanking this are two bronze plaques, one on the left with the fireman's prayer and one on the right with the original names of the founding members. To the extreme rear along the brick wall is the usual boilerplate memorial special with the glass cover protecting the names of those being memorialized. To the left and right are bronze markers bearing the names of deceased firefighters and Ladies Auxiliary members, on multiple bronze markers attached to the outside brick wall. The simple name holder in the center of all this reads In Memory of Our Members and was donated by the Ladies Auxiliary in 1966.
To all appearances, this is not only a very active firehouse but also an integral part of the community.
