The entrance was to this cave was originally covered by a water tank and was first dived in 1984 after the tank was moved. At that time only 70 metres of the cave was discovered, due a restriction from a rock fall.
Since that time more and more passages continue to be discovered with more than a 1000 metres of passages being discovered in a single weekend.
The cave extendes across the highway adjacent to Fossil Cave (visit link)
Access is controlled by the Cave Divers Association of Australia (CDAA) and a strict training and proceduress apply for safety and to preserve the cave.
Most of the cave is less than 15 metres deep and the water remains at a constant 15°C year round.
A series of coloured permenant lines with arrows and distance markers help divers navigate the maze of passages.
The enterance to the cave is located in a farm paddock with access via a permenant ladder over the fence at S37° 43.993 E140° 32.239.
