Randall is a small town in central Minnesota of approximately 700 people. The town was platted in the 1890's but was not incorporated until about 1900. At that time the Randall train depot and the Randall Creamery were the community meeting places.
Over time, the creamery closed. I'm guessing about 1990, as I remember it operating when I first came to the area.
There were a lot of creameries in this area, particularily in the early 1900's. Each small town had its own creamery and the farmers joined co-ops to produce and promote their products.
Now the creamery is abandonded but it appears to be in the process or restoration. The windows seem to be newly painted. Though abandoned this is a majestic building and would be a historic and characteristic home, apartments or whatever. Now is stands sentinel over the small town and preserves the history of the farming community.
