This mural is by local artist Ginny Allen and uses many colors and sweeping brush strokes to evoke a temperate Autumn day in the area. The elk are fattened to prepare for the harsh winter struggle. Usually a bull elk would have a harem of cows, but that would mean much more work for the muralist!
