Brock House.

Architects: Samuel MacLure & Percy Fox

Originally known as Thorley Park, this stately Tudor Revival home was built in 1911 for E.P. Gilman, an English mining engineer. It is named after Reginald W. Brock, former head of the Geological Survey of Canada and Dean of Applied Science at UBC who lived here from 1922 until his untimely death in 1935. It remained a private residence until 1952 when it was acquired by the R.C.M.P. Architect John Keith King designed renovations for the conversion of Brock House into a seniors recreations\ centre and public restaurant in 1977.
