There are extensive details on the website about the history of the water mill: visit link

The mill used to grind flour and was founded by the Cistercian monks of Valle Crucis. Mentioned in the 13th century it was rebuilt in 1786 and finished working in 1974. There is a great view of the mill from the bridge.
