Rockingham Foreshore is a safe beach for children with little to no waves. It has a very gentle slope within the water for about 20 metres before it drops off. The area is very popular with families as there is a big park, playground, change rooms, toilets and many cafes and coffee shops available. Although there are no life guards or equipment hire, the local council usually puts out a pontoon for swimmers to jump off during the summer months.
This Kugel Ball is located beside the beach and overlooks the Rockingham Wreck Dive Trail, a popular "Learn To Dive" location.
