The Cecil Cox Post was founded in 1919 and named for the first soldier from Clovis that was killed in World War I. An Auxillary group was founded in 1925. The Legion's members are committed to serving the local veteran's and youth causes.
Post meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month except for the summer months. Fundraisers for various programs are held in conjuction with Clovis Rodeo, Big Hat Days, Clovis Fest, and the Clovis Rodeo. The hall is also home to a local Boy Scout Troop and is available for rental.
