This memorial is located in a grassy area east of the 45th Infantry Division Museum located on N.E. 36th Street, just east of Martin Luther King Blvd.
The area has many specific war memorials for various units who fought for their country, as well as displays of aircraft, artillery and military ground equipment.
This monument honoring Battery C of the 171st Field Artillery is made of red granite and reads:
