This is a very simple, understated memorial to the veterans of what is the Red Bank section of West Deptford Township, NJ. Originally this was a roll of honor type memorial to WWII veterans with painted names behind glass. According to my research, names were added for Korea and Vietnam as well, but both weather and vandals unfortunately scarred this roll of honor beyond repair. The small plaque in the center was added in the mid 1980s. there are currently plans to have a more permanent roll of honor re-installed on the monument in the future.
