Rectangular relief panel with a self-portrait of Giacomo Manzu seated on a stool, his body turned in profile to the right, and his right handraised to his easel as he sketches a nude model standing in front of him. He wears a long overcoat and a hat for warmth in his studio, which was unheated due to wartime shortages. The model stands with her back to the viewer, her left arm at her side and her right arm raised.
