This wing of the hospital was the first built in 1793 on a green field site, the cost was £15,000 and a road was built to it from St.Giles' Church at a cost of £40.

Since then it has expanded almost exponentially to its present size and it has been necessary to divide the hospital into 19 areas and place many of these maps around the site. This map is also available to download. See .pdf
