The memorial is comprised of two bronze tablets. The first tablet is inscribed:
This tablet is dedicated in honor of those employes
of the Utah Copper Company who answered the call of
our country and enrolled for service in the World War
1917 - Magna Mill - 1918

This tablet is dedicated in honor of those employes of
the Bingham & Garfield Railway who answered the
call of our country and enrolled for service in the World War
1917 - 1918

The Bingham & Garfield Railway was a captive company of the Utah Copper Company and existed solely to haul copper ore from the mine in Bingham Canyon to the mill at Magna. It is assumed that these tablets were erected by the Utah Copper Company because of the inscriptions on the two tablets.
