The ruins of the castle of Csókako is rising on a lonely cliff of Vértes mountain. Defended on three sides by steep divide, could be approached only from the west. Internal tower, irregular shaped, multi-storied castle was.
The chronicles first mention in 1299. Throughout its history has repeatedly changed hands. In 1544 the Turks captured, although the small waiting area of strategic importance was small. In the XVIII-th. century was still standing, and only the early XIX-th. century died.
