Gunnison Beach is part of the Gateway National Recreation Area. Two miles of the beach are legally designated as clothing-optional...and is guarded by lifeguards during the Summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day). There is no fee to use the beach. Parking fees of $10 are charged only during the Summer...but, get here early or you will be turned away....the parking lots get filled up early on Summer weekends.

There are restrooms and changing areas near the beach parking lot...but the beach is wide here and the sand fine..so, it can take some work to actually get to the surf.
Access Fee: 10 parking during Summer only, no fee for beach.
