The small bus station, for a very small town.

Suong is a small town, approximately 40kms to the west of the provincial capital city (Kampong Cham by name). Somewhat surprisingly, the town has a standalone bus station, which deals with both intra and inter provincial traffic. Surprising, in that the same cannot be said of the provincial capital city. This station is large enough for two or three 'big' buses to park, and a hundred or more passengers to amble around.

There is a undercover parking and refuelling area for buses, and a fair sized structure for passengers to patiently await their bus. The station also seemed very busy for such a small town, however, I was only in the station for a few minutes (my bus stopped unexpectedly, in need of water). The station seems to be owned, or at least managed, by the Sorya bus company, one of the larger such companies in Cambodia
