This cemetery was established in about the 1880s, to bury members of Saint Patrick Church which was established in October 1880. Three acres of land for the cemetery was purchased from M.S. Titus of Minto for $100.00.
In 1959 the church ceased to exist in Minto, when it was hauled to Lankin ND where it was used for a reception Hall.
