At the East end of the South aisle is a magnificent dresser tomb to Sir Henry Cock (d1609) and Lady Ursula Cock (d1611). Sir Henry was Keeper of the Wardrobe for Elizabeth I and James I. Below the figures of Sir Henry and Lady Cock is a frieze with carved figures of weepers or mourners, representing the children and grandchildren of the family.

To the South of the altar is the chest tomb of Sir Thomas Say. The tomb is topped in Purbeck marble and has coloured brasses of Sir Thomas (d1478) and his wife Lady Elizabeth (d1473). Sir Thomas was a prominent figure in Broxbourne, having been Member of Parliament and Speaker of the House of Commons. Sir Thomas is credited with the responsibility for building the present Church of St Augustine’s.

To the North of the altar is the canopied chest tomb of Sir William Say (d1529). Sir William was responsible for the building of the North Chapel and vestry.
