The OK Anderson City Park - Green River UT - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

This gate enticed us to stop and take a look at the park while passing through Green River.

We found a couple of interesting things we would have missed out on, a replica of an Athena Missile and a memorial to Burt Loper, pioneer of the sport of whitewater river-running. The Athena Missile was first launched from White Sands missile range near Green River UT February 10th 1962. This missile is an exact replica of this missile.
