The Hornbeck Theater, located at 123-125 N. Bell Street has been open since the building was constructed in 1947. This is a twin theater with a downstairs auditorium, and a piggyback balcony "Penthouse" Theater upstairs.
The theater seats at $1.50 for everyone, with special concessions for $1.00 on Tuesdays.
The large, double-sided marquee above the entrance is bordered with neon in a wave pattern, with a vertical row of chevrons at the center. The name of the theater, "HORNBECK" is displayed vertically in neon, with a wavy neon line to the side. The signs are in excellent condition, and the theater is in full use.
