At first glance, Masonic Social Lodge #38 seems to be located in what appears to be an old yellow, wooden church building because all the windows have stained glass. However, upon closer inspection, the stained glass window over the entrance include a masonic emblem so this may not be the case.

"June 1, 1815, a charter for a lodge of Free and Accepted Masons was issued by John Chapman, Most Worshipful Grand Master of Vermont, to be known as Social Lodge No. 38 and located in Wilmington. The Mason's have a pleasant hall in Ware's block."
